We're back from a trip to Thomas Orchards in nearby Bishop to buy a couple of containers of peaches for the kinfolk in Louisiana.

On Clayton Street

When the youngster heads back to school in August, I'll have more freedom to stroll with my camera. Here's a shot I captured downtown just before 8:00 a.m. a year ago today.

Developed with Coffee

My friend Rand Lines (lower left) thinks shooting digital isn't enough of a challenge. So he also shoots film and develops with coffee (see accompanying images). Which means we have something in common. I use coffee in my photography, too. I drink it while I'm working.

Strata of Grain

We worked this morning on art for UGA's new Guidebook for Meal Plan Dining. This afternoon, I combined many of the images into a single layered image of grains.
